Refund and Returns Policy

Return & Exchange Periods

We work hard every day to enrich our customers’ lives through technology, whether you come to us online, visit our stores, or invite us into your home. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, let us help you with a replacement, return, or repair. This policy applies to purchases from onsidetechsolutions.co.ke (Onside Technology Solutions)

If you want to return or exchange your purchase, please know that the time period begins the day you receive your product and applies to new, clearance, open-box & refurbished products.

Returns & Exchange

Our refund and returns policy lasts 15 days. If 15days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

-All items purchased online can be returned within a period of 15 days from the delivery date.

-After this period, any issue with the product will be treated as a repair and maintenance issue.

To be eligible for a return, the item purchased must be unused and in the same condition as purchased.

Items must also be in their original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned, such as

Perishable goods, Hazardous materials, Flammable items, Gift Cards & Software products

To complete your return or Refund, we require you to present your receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • CDs, DVDs, and software that have been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 15 days after Delivery

Refunds

Once your returned Item is received and inspected, we will let you know.

We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within a certain number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first recheck your bank account.

Then you can contact your credit card company; it may take some time for your refund to be officially posted.

Next, could you contact your bank? There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email to: info@onsidetechsolutions.co.ke and send your item to our Physical Store.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will issue a refund to the gift giver and notify them of your return.

Shipping returns

If you would like to return your product, please mail it to our Physical Store, Onside Technology Solutions, Pioneer Kimathi, Kimathi St, Nairobi, Kenya.

You will be responsible for the shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, consider using a reliable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
